Nitrox Sticker Part Deux

I went on a night dive right after I finished the previous post. I was excited because I would be able to double check my work and get an idea what a geared up scuba tank would look like with my custom nitrox sticker. My original idea was that the sticker would be 6 inches high by 22 inches across. It would almost completely wrap around the steel 120 tank and it would sit between my two tank straps.

It quickly became apparent that my plan would not work in the way I was thinking. I misremembered the size of the space between the two tank straps. I thought it was around 6 inches, but it was closer to 3. (Sorry ladies)

I was looking at my options and it became apparent to me that this big sticker really wouldn’t work the way I wanted it to. A day or two later, I had a flash of inspiration. I took my cue from the white country sticker and I started working on an oval sticker. With a bit of work I came up with what I think will be a workable solution. It also has the advantage of being much smaller and therefore cheaper to have made.

I ordered some physical copies a day or two ago and they should arrive sometime next month. I’m excited to see how they will turn out. I’ll post a pic as soon as they arrive. The pic below is what the design looks like. The colors on the stickers should be closer to the yellow and green used on current nitrox stickers. The colors below changed when I converted the color space from CMYK to RGB.
